Daniel Kraus, D.C.

Clinic Director

- Dr. Daniel J. Kraus was born in Washington, D.C. , grew up in Silver Spring and is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park. He then went on to Life College in Marietta, Georgia, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Kraus received a Distinguished Fellow of Chiropractic Biophysics certification in 2008 and his Advanced Certification in Chiropractic Biophysics in 2011. He is Board certified in the State of Maryland, and by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Dr. Kraus has had extensive experience in structural rehabilitation and he focuses on spinal correction. He believes that fixing posture helps improve overall health and helps patients achieve their long term health goals. His approach to treatment is to find the underlying cause of the problem; each treatment program is designed specifically for the individual. The office, established in 2019 is focused on the health needs of the entire family with a focus on posture correction.

Dr. Rosell

Dr. Rosell J. Belmont Monell, D.C.

Chiropractor

Dr. Rosell J. Belmont Monell was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of the Sacred Heart. Dr. Rosell then attended New York Chiropractic College where she earned her doctorate in Chiropractic.

She was selected for a clinical Clerkship in Long Island, NY that specializes in management of chronic pain in a multidisciplinary setting. During the clerkship, she worked with various pain management specialists in a variety of fields including Neurology, Physical Therapy, Advanced Practice Nursing.

Dr. Rosell is board certified and licensed by the Maryland Board of Chiropractic Examiners and National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Rosell undertook additional coursework in soft tissue and musculoskeletal stabilizing techniques that include:

  • Nimmo
  • Active Release Technique
  • Graston Technique
  • Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization
  • Functional Taping
  • Dry Needling

Dr. Rosell is fully bilingual (Spanish and English). During her free time, you can find her enjoying hockey/football, participating in water/outdoor sports or doing arts and crafts. Dr. Rosell is committed to improving patients’ quality of life and guiding them to posture correction.

Moon H. Park, L.A.c

Acupuncturist

Moon H.  Park, L.Ac. (Licensed Acupuncturist) graduated from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine and has a Master of Science in Acupuncture. Now, he is pursuing a Master of Science in Herbal Medicine. He is accredited by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) in Foundations of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture with Point Location. 

For over 25 years, Moon H. Park has taught as a Master of Martial Arts in Qigong. He also held a solo martial arts performance at the Kennedy Center and Philadelphia Museum of Art. Moon H. Park utilizes Qigong energy in his acupuncture treatments to ensure optimal results for patients. The combination of acupuncture and Qigong increases body energy and circulation. He always strives to alleviate the pain of his patients through his extensive knowledge. His dedication to acupuncture translates into his passion for improving patient results and perfecting his practice. 

Moon H. Park’s main principle is to upgrade the quality of life for his patients through his acupuncture treatments.

Yemesrach Mengesha (Yemi), NP-C, MSN, BSN, RN

Nurse Practitioner

- Yemesrach Mengesha (Yemi), NP-C, MSN, BSN, RN is a certified Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She provides comprehensive pain management through assessments, minimally invasive pain interventions, and medication management.

Yemi obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing at Johns Hopkins University. She is Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She continues to enjoy 5+ fulfilling years as a nurse practitioner in various specialties including Acute/Chronic Pain Management, Gynecology, HIV/AIDS, Primary Care and Hepatitis C. Yemi is a current member of The Society of Women Innovators in Pain Management and Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing. She is dedicated to provide compassionate care to all her patients in pain. She will work to find the best approaches to treat the multitude of reasons that people experience acute/chronic pain. She strives to provide compassionate and comprehensive care so that all her patients can have a better quality of life.  

Yemi was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She is fluent in both English and Amharic. In her free time, she loves dabbling in interior design, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
