I came to Dr. Dan in 2010, after being badly injured in a car accident, resulting in excruciating lower back and neck pain. Over the next several months, Dr. Dan adjusted my back and neck… These not only relieved the excruciating pain, but continue to provide enough relief so that I can work, drive, and sleep. I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Dan. Once, about two months after the original accident, I did too much walking on my vacation. I …could hardly move – so I called Dr. Dan, and he…adjusted me enough for me to survive, sleep, and not lose time at work. Anyone suffering from neck or back pain should come to see Dr. Dan!
I came to Dr. Dan, not because I was in pain or had an injury, but to make sure that I was doing all I can to be healthy. This is when I learned I lost 60% of the bend in my neck. After a couple of weeks of treatment, I noticed I could breathe better and had more flexibility in my neck. I now stand straight and have better posture when sitting at my desk. The staff is fantastic, always making you smile when you walk in the door. Also, I was really glad that I came here when I found out that Dr. Dan is working toward giving you a solution to the problem, not just a band-aid.
The greatest wealth that a person acquires is the seeds they have sown in others. In this world where material things matter people strive to store up money or wealth, but Dr. Dan has spent his life storing his wealth in the people he touches. I can speak with authority since I have known Dr. Dan for over 20 years. I first met Dr. Dan when he opened his first office in the area known as Hollywood in the City of College Park.
I originally took my Mother there for treatment but soon the entire family began going to see Dr. Dan. What made him special was not just his warm personality but his knowledge of the field, his honesty, customer service and his professionalism. Since day one he has remained the same person true to his core. Although my mother has passed away, my family and I still go to his practice for treatment. For our family he is more than just Dr. Dan, he is a friend and a part of our family.
A few years ago my back pain was so bad I couldn't walk the mall without stopping to sit down. I was popping OTC pain meds like Pez. Doc said I had early onset sacroiliitis in the back and it is what it is. I found Dr. Dan and he said he could help. Thanks to a Dr. Dan and the massage therapist he recommend I am now doing obstacle races and 300 lb dead-lifts.
While riding my bicycle in July 2002 I was struck from behind by a car traveling at about 35MPH. The impact resulted in compression fractures of my L1 and L2 vertebrae, among other injuries. I was out of commission and flat on my back for 2 weeks, and had to wear a very aggressive back brace for support for several months after that. However, it was my good fortune to come under the care of Dr. Dan. In the early months post-injury I came in 3x/week, eventually tapering off to 2x, then 1x. With Dr. Dan’s help I resumed my bicycle training and racing program, and now I hate to miss a week, because it makes a noticeable difference in how comfortable I feel on the bike. I will always be grateful to Dr. Dan for making it possible for me to continue doing the sport that has been my passion for more than 40 years.
